In May of 2008 I dropped my macbook on the entry way of my apartment building and cracked the screen. At the time, Apple told me it would cost $1400 to fix my laptop. At the time, I told Apple to take a stick and shove it. Justin did some research and it was going to cost $400 to buy a screen off ebay and even then we weren't even sure the screen would work or that the computer wasn't permanently broken. So, I cried and beat myself up for dropping my beloved laptop. Justin let me use his hp laptop until it died 2 months ago when I resorted to my last option, the imac. While it has been getting me through, its slow and outdated and wasn't going to last much longer.
Fast forward to Sunday when Kelli informed me her little girl, Kaylan, spilled milk on her macbook and killed it. So sad. Somehow, Kelli got the nicest Apple guy ever, who basically fixed her computer under warranty!
Sunday also happened to be Valentine's Day and my present happened to be a new screen!! So romantic, right? He knew exactly what would make me happy :) After my screen arrived today, Justin worked his magic and we are up and running again!
Now we both have our macbooks back and in working order!! Life is GOOD.
