the fortress

Our fence is 95% of the way done... YAY! The fortress has been quite a daunting project to take on. Thirty some post holes had to be measured, dug, filled with concrete, etc etc. Thanks again to my Dad and Sis for coming up to help us work on the fence, we couldn't have done it without you! We are in a hurry to get it finished because an incomplete fence is pretty worthless to a buckin' bronco named Breck seeing as he can't roam free until the fence is done. We plan on putting stone on the unfinished wood posts.. but that will be later this summer when our funds have recuperated from this project.

Justin bought this outfit for Brecky Boy when he was just a pup but now that hes a grown up he can fit into it. I guess since Justin didn't follow in the family footsteps and become a rural mail carrier, he thought maybe Breck could carry on the tradition.

Only fitting to include this video since Justin/me/Marin/Kimmy are all in love with Pure Country. This video hails from a lovely decade called the 90's.

pup school grad

I am happy to report that Brecky Baby graduated from Level 1 pup class!! While many of you would assume Breck graduated top of his class, I must inform you that some weeks were a struggle for him (and us, duh). The first few weeks he was a ball of energy and we spent the whole class trying to control him. After a few more classes he got the hang of it and learned how to pay attention/perform tricks and in turn get lots of nummy treats! While he never got asked to be a demonstrator (not once.. I'm a little bitter) we have high hopes for the next round of classes! Level 2 here we come!!
