oops

This morning I dropped my iphone, on the ground, face down. I was not prepared for what I saw when I picked up the phone and flipped it over.... a cracked screen. SHIT! While I'm not well versed on iphone replacement options, I knew it was going to set me back a couple hundred bucks, which I would reluctantly pay because there's absolutely no way I was going back to my spare blackberry. Once you go iphone you don't go back. period. end of story. I cried, in my cube, for 10 minutes... mad at my carelessness and soon to be empty wallet. (for those of you who remember, I dropped my macbook in 2008 and cracked the screen. It was traumatic and this little phone incident brought back baaaad memories.)

I immediately made an appointment at the Apple store inside the MOA. Long story short, the nicest lady gave me a remanufactured phone for free! She said it was a one time deal (note to self, don't drop your phone again because no one is going to bail you out!). I immediately bought a purple Otterbox (aka bulky, bomb proof phone cover) which I will sport from here on out.

What an emotional day! (insert slight sarcasm)

Clearly I know there are much worse things in life than breaking a material possession, but I think all iphone users would share in my misery over a broken iphone.

In other news, I've begun operation paint-all-of-the-trim-in-the-house. Wish me luck!
p.s. the lighting is horrible

Breck had his manhood surgery a couple months ago. Poor guy had to wear a cone for 2 weeks because he kept licking his stitches. You better believe he ran into everything in my house with that XXL cone on. ugh.
I took up a new hobby... magnet making. I am going to sell them in my mom's booth at the Brass Armadillo!
A washed out pic from Stella's Fish Cafe. The roof top deck was the perfect place to be last night.
New porch planters. Love them!
Love me some family snuggle time on the couch. Not sure how I always end up on the bottom of the dog pile.
We went to Stillwater over the 4th. Its by far my favorite place to go in the metro area.

My first Target field experience back in May. Such an awesome stadium! Well done, Twins, well done.
The 3 monster's dragging me all over WDM.
New plants along the back of the garage. Like I said above, we are making some serious landscaping progress on this little ranch house.
