More House Pics

While I patiently wait for the new, low profile box spring to come, I decided to take some more pictures of the house! The kitchen is by far my favorite room.. I love the bright colors next to the appliances and counter top :) The purple bathroom was the only room in the house that was painted a color other than white when we moved in. Why its painted a deep purple beats me. Mom, Justin and I picked out a few things in hopes to break up the color - It looks much cozier in person.

The new place is still very much a work in progress - here are a couple pictures of the living area. The light isn't the best but you get the idea :)

When Justin moved to our current home in September he had to buy a new bed. We hadn't picked out a bed frame at the time so we decided to go with the regular size foundation - aka box spring. We bought the bed frame in November, but we didn't get it moved to MN and setup until Saturday... when we realized that our bed was WAY too tall!!! Thankfully the place we bought the mattress from is going to let us exchange it with a low profile foundation since Justin left the plastic wrap on.

A Busy Holiday Season

Graduation, Christmas and New Years have come and gone so fast! I went to the graduation ceremony and it was an awesome experience! Following the ceremony, family and close friends gathered at my dads house in WDM for a little party. We had a great time and I'm so thankful to everyone who came! A few short days later and Christmas was upon us. Sadly, Justin was super sick for 3 days :( We still managed to spend time with the fam and open a few presents along the way. The next big event consisted of a quick trip to Minneapolis to move all of my belongings to our new place! Justin has been living there since September, but the condo is in major need of a feminine touch. We pretty much dumped everything in and headed back to Ames to spend NYE with all of our friends. Fast forward a few days and we will be leaving for Winter Park tomorrow for a whole week! Following 4 days of skiing we will finally be able to get settled in and unpacked. I'll post some pictures once I get everything set up :)
