We are so close officially owning this home that I can hardly stand it.

Home inspection, done.
Appraisal, done.
Sold sign in the front yard, done.

All we have to do is sign the papers and we will be legit homeowners- then let the demo work begin!

marin's debut at MSU

It's official - my sis is a college student! Two weekends ago I went to WDM to meet up with the fam and travel the 6 hours to Springfield, MO where Marin is going to school. I had a lot of fun and anytime spent with Mom, Grams and Marin is always the best :)

I took lots of embarrassing pictures of Marin in front of the bookstore, in front of her dorm, etc - I was like a proud momma!

I tried pronouncing this word "tah-coma-sak" - Mom, Grams and I had a good laugh as I tried to figure out how its really pronounced. Since Marin wasn't paying attention to the convo, she tried to figure it out on her own, too - so we got 2 really good laughs out of this silly sign thats supposed to read "take-home-a-sack"

I'm 3 weeks late in positing this but when you have no internet at home it makes it difficult to find time for blogging. It's two in the afternoon and I took the rest of the day off to shuttle Justin to and from his Lasik eye procedure. He is super excited about getting "new eyes". I jokingly told him it would not be a good thing that he would be able to see me first thing in the morning- before I was a big blob to him and now he will be able to see me at my finest :)

ANYWHO, onto the real post. A couple weeks ago we went up to our friend Mike's palace which he likes to call a "cabin" for the 2nd annual cabin get together. There were 13 of us and we had a blast! We had a some sunshine and a lot of rain but that didn't keep us off the boat or jetskis. I got a ton of bruises when I went tubing and they finally went away a few days ago -now I don't have to worry about Justin going to jail for domestic abuse.
