more house pics

Justin went over to the new house today (that's so fun to say :) and took a few more pictures. I can't wait to look back on these pictures in a few months/years and see all of the changes we make. I'm a little scared when I look at some of these pictures, we have a lot of painting to do and lets not forget the nasty 70's carpet/drapes that have to go asap!

Despite all of the "updating" I still love the house and all of the potential!

our new house!

We FINALLY found a house!! After 3 months of looking we found the perfect place to call home. It is in desperate need of updating - but we are ready to tackle all of the projects the house throws our way (anyone want to bankroll our renos?!) The house is a 5 minute WALK from Justin's work - I told him if the exploder breaks down that he has 2 options, ride your bike or walk, take your pick. haha.

We close on the house the last week of September barring any major problems uncovered during the home inspection. I have a feeling that my blog posts from now until well, forever, will be about the house.

I'm so happy the search is over. I'd venture to say we looked at a good 30-40 houses with our amazing realtor, Molly. While I don't look forward to moving all of our crap, I'm so so so excited to move into our new place!

twins vs. white sox

I went to my very first Twins game this week! Our friend Cody scored some great tickets from work. We really enjoyed the game and we will be going back in the future. I'm looking forward to games next year in the brand new stadium!
